A 41-year-old Sparks man was sentenced to prison on Tuesday in District Court for drug trafficking. Benjamin Belmontes pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and received two sentences of two to eight years, which will run consecutively.
